Mother’s Day is just around the corner on Sunday, May 12th, and Corning and the Southern Finger Lakes has plenty of ways to spoil mom this year. Take her to brunch at a brewery, have a unique wine experience, go to a new museum exhibit, or explore a chocolate trail.

Treat mom to a beautiful day on Keuka Lake and stop by Steuben Brewing Company. Pair their delicious craft brews with brunch from Coco’s Cafes from 10am-1pm. Check out the other tasting rooms along the lake on the Craft Your Adventure Beverage Trail.

If mom is a wine connoisseur, then you won’t want to miss the May 1886 Wine & Food Experience at Dr. Franks. The experience begins with a behind-the-scenes look at their rich history of sparkling winemaking. The tour will begin with an explanation of our estate vineyards focusing on the classic Champagne grapes, and then continues underground to our historic cellar built in 1886. Learn the process of bottling, aging, and disgorgment while tasting several examples of their sparkling wines. The tour concludes with a seated flight of wines paired with the chef’s seasonal bites.
