The Steuben County Conference and Visitors Bureau (SCCVB) understands our tourism industry has been deeply impacted by the pandemic. As the COVID-19 crisis continues to evolve and our economies begin to reopen, the SCCVB team is focused on curating and sharing resources to help our industry partners navigate reopening guidance and information from trusted sources.

Incoming Travel Advisory: all individuals traveling from states with significant community spread of COVID-19 must quarantine for 14 days

In order for businesses to reopen they must visit the following website and submit an attestation that they have reviewed the industry-specific guidance developed by the State and developed an appropriate reopening plan.  Businesses who have not done so need to file this as soon as possible to prevent actions that could force the closure of the business.
If you have been operating as an essential business and fall within the Phase 4 reopening effort you can continue to operate under the essential business designation however you should also file the appropriate attestation.  If you do not fall under Phase 4 guidance but have been operating as essential you may continue to do so and await further guidance.
A more detailed list of specific businesses under these categories can be found by visiting the State NY Forward website at:

It is important that we continue to be diligent in adhering to and enforcing social distancing and hygiene efforts in order to continue moving forward with reopening efforts.
