New York's Wine Country
Making exceptional wines is just what we do. That's why the Finger Lakes is one of the most exciting, up-and-coming wine destinations in the United States. You know, one of those overnight successes that's been 150 years in the making.
"All this attention and these recent awards seem to have bewildered local winemakers, who have been practicing their craft for years . . . It's like the wine world has all of a sudden awoken to the excellent quality of Finger Lakes vintages." - Malerie Yolen-Cohen, Huffington Post
We've spent all that time getting things just right—from the vineyards and the grapes to the superb wines and overall wine tasting experience.
"The vintners of New York's Finger Lakes region make wines that stand alongside California's best. And the scenery is likewise first-rate: Road-trippers can taste their way from vineyard to vineyard amid rolling hills, tidy Amish farms, and long vistas of blue water." - William Scheller, excerpt adapted from National Geographic Traveler
Igniting a Revolution
With people telling him at every turn that fine European-style wines couldn't be made here, Dr. Konstantin Frank took it upon himself to prove them wrong and ignited the "Vinifera Revolution" on the scenic slopes overlooking Keuka Lake. Of course, Dr. Frank's is known for more than innovation. It's also known for excellence. Since 1962, Dr. Frank's Vinifera Wine Cellars has been New York State's most award-winning winery.
It's only fitting that a winery founded by someone as eclectic and witty as Walter Taylor—a man who saw the absurdity in not being able to use his own name on his wines as an opportunity to have some fun—would adopt the motto "wine with laughter." With laugh-out-loud tastings, one of the areas best restaurants, a gift shops, pop art gallery, walking tours, and more, Bully Hill has taken their motto to heart.

Delight All Your Senses
Using environmentally-friendly practices long before they were trendy, Heron Hill Winery continues to think of the land while crafting award-wining wines like their latest endeavor using solar power. Named one of the "most spectacular tasting rooms in the world" by Travel & Leisure, Heron Hill delights the senses, with excellent vintages and stunning views, as well as a seasonable cafe offering delicious food and live entertainment.
Steeped in Tradition
There's a reason Patrice DeMay's boutique winery, Chateau Renaissance, has established a following in NYC. Patrice takes a hands-on approach to everything from making quality wines to bottling and labeling them. After growing up in the family business in France's Loire Valley, he brought that experience and a 400-year-old family recipe for champagne with him to one of the oldest planted vineyards in the Finger Lakes.
The Perfect Pairing
For the third time in five years, one of the wines from Ravines Wine Cellar was named to Wine & Spirits Top 100. While owner and winemaker Morten Halgren uses Old World winemaking traditions and New World innovation to specialize in elegant, dry, food-friendly wines, his wife Lisa creates seasonal food and wine pairing events sure to please the palate.
Making a Splash
Known for crafting unique, dry, European-style wines made from hybrid grapes like Vignoles, Keuka Lake Vineyards kicked off 2016 by winning an Editor's Choice Gold Medal for their Cabernet Franc at the Wine Enthusiast Competition. KLV is a small winery dedicated to making excellent wines.
A micro-production farm winery, Deep Root Vineyards focuses on producing small batches of tasty wines using sustainable practices.
A Love Story
Originally from France, two young wine-lovers developed their skills as winemakers working on 15 vintages around the world. While abroad, they met and fell in love before traveling together to the Finger Lakes wine region and falling in love with Keuka Lake and built Domaine LeSurre Winery.
An Intimate Experience
Point of the Bluff proves it's not the size of the vineyard but the way in which you use it that makes a difference. Enjoy the intimate log cabin tasting room overlooking scenic Keuka Lake, taste Point of the Bluff's most popular wines, including its delicious ice wine.
Expanding on Traditions
While most Finger Lakes winemakers are trying to find ways to take advantage of their proximity to the lakes and to existing wine trails, like the Keuka Wine Trail, Wild Brute Winery has chosen to set up shop a bit more off the beaten path offering guests a unique experience and some excellent wines in the process.
