Chateau Renaissance Wine Cellars
Château Renaissance Wine Cellars - History
Domenic Carisetti and Patrice DeMay are the owners of Château Renaissance as well as longtime friends and veterans among Finger Lakes winemakers. Patrice has a long family history in winemaking, dating back to the 1920s in the Loire Valley of France. Domenic and Patrice designed and built Château Renaissance Wine Cellars in a Normandy/Tuscany style of architecture.
The goal behind the startup of the winery was to provide training and employment to people with disabilities and to those who were on public assistance. They also formed ateaching partnership with Corning Community College, offering classes in both viticulture (grape-growing) and oenology (wine science).
