Visit the pristine waters of Keuka Lake for Brown Trout, Smallmouth Bass, and Landlocked Salmon, just to name a few. Maybe you will find your way to the Cohocton River where you will find miles of trout fishing available all year! By the way, 30,000 trout are stocked annually in Steuben County.

New to fishing? Take part in New York State's Free Fishing Days, which take place on June 23rd and 24th. No fishing license required! As always, children under the age of 16 are not required to have a fishing license.
