Rock Your Way into August with a Summer Jam Spectacular at Little Gather
Corning, NY –Kids can discover the magic and science of lasers at the Corning Museum of Glass! Prismatic Magic presents a sensational show of dazzling laser animations set to popular tunes at Little Gather on Wednesday, August 4.
Little Gather performances, appropriate for children 3 and up, are free and take place every Wednesday, through August 25. Public shows are at 11:00 a.m. and require no registration; shows for groups are held at 10:00 a.m. and require advance registration. Parents are encouraged to visit the Museum after each program and tour the galleries. Admission to the Museum is free for children and teens 19 and under; adults must pay admission ($14.00). Those who live in the zip code areas beginning with 148, 149 or 169 pay only a $6 admission. The Museum also offers an Admission Only Membership program. Adults pay admission once, then return for free any time throughout the year until December 31, 2010.
Families participating in Little Gather will receive a coupon for 5% off a family order at the Museum's Coffee Bar and GlassMarket Café.

The Corning Museum of Glass (www.cmog.org) is home to the world's most comprehensive and celebrated collection of glass, with more than 45,000 objects reflecting 3,500 years of glassmaking history. An independent, non-profit, educational institution, the Museum is dedicated to the art, history, science, research and exhibition of glass.
