The ARTS announces arts grants for artists and nonprofits
The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes announces the launch of its 2011 community arts regrant programs: Decentralization (DEC) and Artist-->Crossroads. The programs fund arts and cultural related activities taking place between January 1-December 31, 2011. Applications and guidelines are available for artists and nonprofit organizations in Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben and Tioga counties. Visit www.eARTS.org to download applications or email grants@eARTS.org to receive copies of the applications and guidelines.
All applicants are required to attend an application seminar where further information is given about eligibility requirements, application deadlines, program priorities and project criteria. The application deadline for DEC and Artist-->Crossroads is Friday, October 1, 2010, delivery or postmark by 5 pm.
Application seminars are held throughout the four-county region. Applicants who are unable to attend a scheduled seminar should contact The ARTS by calling 607-962-5871 x226 to schedule an individual meeting.
