Summer Moods

The ARTS of the Southern Finger Lakes (The ARTS) announces the opening of Summer Moods, a group exhibit at the Palace Theatre Gallery. A reception with the artists will take place Thursday, July 19, 5:30 - 7:00 pm, at the Palace Theatre Gallery, 17 West Market Street in Corning. This event is free and open to the public.

Summer Moods includes artwork by members of the Open Studio group at 171 Cedar Arts Center in Corning, including Bruce Baxter, Jackie Braselmann, Elaini Caruso, Elizabeth Lees, Sheila Ortiz, Jeffery Perrault, Chris Thorborg, Theresa Van Etten, Bridget Bossart van Otterloo, and Julie Waltz. Summer Moods also features artwork by Janet Howie and Pat Jackson.

"The ARTS is excited to present the work of a group of artists who regularly make art together through 171 Cedar Arts Center's Open Studio", said Ginnie Lupi, executive director of The ARTS of the Southern Finger Lakes. "This free program at 171 Cedar provides the interaction and inspiration artists need. The ARTS strongly supports the growth of this great resource."
