Dr. Frank's is Greatest Wine Producer - For the Third Time in a Row!

This is the third consecutive year that the winery has claimed this prestigious title. Salmon Run Meritage was also named #1 in the category for "Best Bargains". Rkatsiteli was also on the list of "Greatest-Quality Wines".

The winery has been recognized in other recent books about wine. Andrea Robinson's 2007 Wine Buying Guide for Everyone gave acknowledgment to Dr. Konstantin Frank's Dry Riesling. "What an impressive fan base for this wine, the 'best Dry Riesling in the United States' (I concur), which 'comes close to German quality' with incredible peachy fruit density and zingy acidity." She also rated it as one of her personal favorites! Oz Clarke's Pocket Wine Guide 2007, named Dr. Frank's as one of the "Best Producers" for Rieslings in the USA . "Under the direction of his grandson Fred, the winery continues to spotlight the area's talent with Riesling". Leslie Sbrocco recently published her second book, The Simple & Savvy Wine Guide. Leslie featured the Dry Riesling in her "Classic Case" and "Overlooked Surprises" category, the Cabernet Franc in "Other American Wines" category and Salmon Run Meritage was listed in the "Raucous Reds" group.
