St. Thomas' Concert Series Announces 2007 Lineup of Concerts
The 2007 Season will feature the following events:
January 21, 2007-Jazz with Duvid Smering and Friends-One of the Southern
Tier's favorite jazz musicians brings together an all-star combo of
regional greats featuring jazz vocalist Cookie Coogan. This concert will
feature a coffeehouse reception provided by Market Street Coffee and Tea
in Corning.
March 4, 2007-Ithaca College Choir-FREE CONCERT! Recognized as "one of the finest and most innovative ensembles at the collegiate level," the IC Choir has performed in the major venues of New York City including Carnegie Hall, and has toured extensively along the East Coast and Midwest.
April 15, 2007-Ithaca Brass The majestic sounds of brass will ring through St. Thomas', as five virtuoso players present a dazzling array of music from many centuries and styles. Members of Ithaca Brass each serve on the world-class faculty of the Ithaca College School of Music.
May 6, 2006-Klenke Winds with harpist Elizebeth Munch Five talented students from the Eastman School of Music will present a varied concert of French classical music for flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and harp. This concert will feature an elegant afternoon tea.
