Sunday in the Park with Pugs

Arizona has "Pugapalooza" and Chicago has the "Pug-Pub-Crawl." The Binghamton area has an annual "Pug-Fest" and Rochester celebrates "Pug-O- Ween." Now Corning, New York has joined that prestigious list as they celebrate the third annual Pug Festival entitled:

"SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH PUGS"
Sunday, September 18th 12:30 pm to 3 pm
Corning's Denison Park Pond Pavilion.

Mr. Lewie dePugma, his brother Paulie-Boy invite other local PUGS and the people they own to join them in the park for the area's major fundraiser for PRoCNY.

Pug Rescue of Central New York will be on hand with wonderful items and exciting raffles, but most important ... education for owners about Pug maintenance and care.

After the introduction parade, there will be prizes for the oldest, youngest, best wrinkles and curliest tail. As for tricks, hey...they are pugs, and unless there is cheese involved, the dePugma brothers don't move! That is probably why the "Run for the Cheese Race" is the most popular event.

Yielding to pug pressure, a costume competition had been added to this year's agenda. Come see what the well dress Corning Pug will be wearing this year!
