Historic Church Sponsors Weekly Summertime Arts Event
Historic Park Church which borders Wisner Park is looking for artists of all disciplines including but not limited to painting and sculpture, and American Fine Crafts such as ceramic art, metals, fiber design (including quilters), glass, painting, printmaking, wood, and fine art photography. Antique and collectibles dealers are also encouraged to exhibit. ARTS AT PARK is designed to promote the arts by giving local artisans and fine antiques and collectibles dealers a chance to showcase and sell their wares on a consistent weekly basis with a well established and growing customer base. Artists will be required to submit an application and examples of their work. Spaces will be awarded to artists who pass a jury selection process. Some financial sponsorship is available to qualifying artists, artists should request further sponsorship information.
Wisner Market Information: Downtown Development's signature summer event, is held on Thursdays from 10am until 2pm in Wisner Park. Over 30 vendors offer a variety of products for sale, including fresh produce, cut flowers, candles, art, and crafts. Lunch is served throughout the park during the Market, which features specialties from many well-loved Elmira restaurants. Not-for-profit organizations are welcome to offer information to the over 1000 weekly visitors, and entertainment is presented at each Market.
All market participants, including farmers, crafters, food service vendors, not-for-profit organizations and entertainers, are licensed by EDD and follow a rigorous application and jury process.

• Indoor and Outdoor Spaces - available alongside the "green" of the
Wisner Park farmer's market and inside in Park Church's historic Beecher
Hall with easy and immediate accessibility to both events.
$50.00/week per 12 foot space, plus one time $25.00 application fee
(fee applied to first weeks rental fee if accepted) and proof of
insurance.

design (INCLUDING QUILTERS), glass, painting, printmaking, wood,

• Several spaces open for the first Thursday of each month for
rotating "visiting" dealers/artists. -ask for more info.
• Artists/artisans are encouraged to perform "clean/limited"
demonstrations. Prior approval by Director required.
• No manufactured/mass produced products.
• 12' table RENTAL available (see display requirements) - cover with gray
felt to floor
• Some exhibitors may want to use their own display (they will be
required to provide a photo of their display and can opt out of using a
provided table)
There is a juried selection process (approval of applications by
committee):
The following must be submitted:
• A completed application
• Photos of work/antiques, photos of displays
• $25.00 submission fee w/ application

Requirements:
• Valid NY State Tax I.D. number
• Signed exhibitors contract for the duration of the exhibit, unless
accepted as rotating exhibitor (rotating exhibitor space
only available on a very limited basis)
