Celebrate Mardi Gras on the Cayuga Wine Trail! Create your own Mardi Gras costume, gather your friends and chase away your winter blues. You'll come away from each winery with beads and the taste of fine wines. All fifteen wineries will prepare foods reminiscent of New Orleans and have recipes to take home. At each winery random prize drawings are given throughout the weekend and everyone receives a souvenir wineglass to take home! Visit all 15 wineries and you'll be eligible for our Grand Prize a wine refrigerator stocked with 15 of our finest member wines plus two tickets to our Wine Cards Wild Weekend event and other party supplies to keep the party from never ending.

Our King and Queen are chosen by the wineries from the many fancy costumed participants. Come dressed in your most festive finery. At a special reception in March, the royal couple is crowned and receive tickets to all Cayuga Wine Trail events and the Finger Lakes Festival in 2005.

All guests vote for the best decorated winery. We'll be in costume and the wineries will be decorated in true Mardi Gras style!

It pays to buy tickets early for this event. Advance tickets are $15.00 plus handling fee(2.50) and sales tax. At the door, the tickets are $20.00 plus sales tax.
