Have you got the winter blues? Join the National Soaring Museum and Tanglewood Nature Center for a day-long, snow-filled family event. Winter Fest will be held Saturday, February 12, from 10 am to 4 pm. There will be free shuttle service between the two locations.

This event is jam-packed with something for everyone - even the indoor enthusiast. There will be snowmobile demos, sledding (please bring your own), ice skating, snowshoeing, horse and wagon rides, and a snowman contest. Meet Blade, the Elmira Jackals mascot; participate in hands-on activities and educational programs; check out our chili tasting, food, music and more!

This event offers admission to two great facilities, and tons of activities indoors and out for only $20.00 per family of four, $7.00 for individuals, and $5.00 for youth (5-17); free for children 4 and under. Weekend package deals are available from Holiday Inn, Horseheads (739- 3681) and Country Inn & Suites, Big Flats (739-9205).
