Raspberries, Chocolate and Red Wine

Celebration at McGregor Vineyard Winery from 10am-6pm. This is one of their most popular, longest-running events. Special gourmet food samples featuring raspberries and chocolate will accompany red and white wine tastings all day. It's a celebration of the marvelous pairing of raspberries and chocolate with wine.

Stacey McGregor will be preparing some scrumptious gourmet delights for this special event. Not to mention the usual goodies that McGregor Winery serves up. Reservations are not necessary for the event!

The focus, of course, is red wine but McGregor's large selection of white wines will be available for tasting as well. All McGregor vinifera reds are produced from grapes grown on McGregor's vineyards- these are true Keuka Lake wines! McGregor has eight dry red wines available, including but not limited to: Cabernet Franc, the 2001 Black Russian Red and three vintages of Pinot Noir. The Black Russian is a unique blend of Saperavi and Sereksiya Charni. McGregor Vineyard Winery is the only producer in the United States of this rich, full-bodied dry red wine, aged for nearly two years in oak barrels. McGregor's premium reds are also available in large format bottles.

For the Raspberries Chocolate & Red Wine event there's a nominal fee to help cover the cost of the foods and wine samples. McGregor will be charging $3 per person ($2 for McGregor Clan Club Members). Visitors over the weekend may forgo the event and still enjoy the same special McGregor wine tasting they offer 361 day a year.

Since it's inception, McGregor Winery has followed the European philosophy of winemaking. Each year's production is a reflection of the "voice of the grapes", the skill of the vineyard manager and the art of the winemaker. The McGregor's offer a unique wine tasting experience. At the winery you will be seated in a relaxing, rustic atmosphere- no standing, no waiting in line. The winery is home to one of the most extensive wine lists in the region with over 30 wines available for sampling. This diverse list often allows wine enthusiasts "vertical" samplings (multiple vintages) of particular wines.

The winery is located on the east side of Keuka Lake overlooking Bluff Point and is home to one of the most beautiful views of the lake imaginable.
