Harley Owners Group Kicks Off Great Lakes: Ontario Tour

MILWAUKEE (June 4, 2004) - More than a thousand Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) members will come together in central New York for four full days of scenic motorcycling, Harley-Davidson camaraderie and celebration during the H.O.G. Great Lakes: Ontario Tour, Monday, June 21 through Thursday, 24, 2004.

The rally, headquartered in Rochester, N.Y., starts with an opening-day dinner and Riders' Meeting on Monday, June 21. Many other activities await the enthusiasts, such as a Dealer Party, a Street Party and many miles of self-guided riding tours throughout central New York, with stops at museums and historical attractions, as well as state and national parks.

Riders will experience some of the most beautiful scenery that New York has to offer on the self-guided tours, including Seneca Falls, the Finger Lakes Region, and the historic Seaway Trail, a National Scenic Byway which passes through Oswego and the awe-inspiring Niagara Falls. Riders will also visit Hammondsport and Horseheads in the Finger Lakes region.

Most event activities are limited to registered event attendees, but the public is invited to stop by the Dealer Party at Cycle Stop Harley- Davidson in Rochester on Monday, June 21 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. The public can also come and celebrate with riders at the Street Party in the High Falls district in Rochester which starts at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 24.

Registration for the H.O.G. Great Lakes: Ontario Tour was open to H.O.G members only and nearly 40% of the registered attendees are women. The event was limited and no onsite registration will be available.
