Fine Arts and Fine Wines
Keuka Lake- Imagine sipping a glass of award winning wine while watching
artists work on a metal sculpture, a piece of jewelry , or a painting of
some of the most scenic views in the Finger Lakes! You can do it all at
the fourth annual Fine Arts and Wine event on Saturday, August 21st and
Sunday, August 22nd. The free event takes place at three of Keuka Lake's
premium wineries: Heron Hill, Dr. Frank's Vinifera Wine Cellars and Hunt
Country Vineyards. The wineries are all located on the hills overlooking
the West side of Keuka Lake. The event will be held from 10 AM until 5
PM on Saturday and from noon until 5 PM on Sunday.
This year's show has an eclectic selection of fine arts from mixed media paintings to metal sculpture. The show offers something for everyone. If you are looking for that unique gift or you are decorating your home or garden, plan on attending.
Admission is free. Donations from the artists' sales go to support arts education programs in Yates and Steuben counties. To learn more, visit the Yates County Arts Center website at: www.YCAC.org.
