171 Cedar Arts Center is proud to present a solo exhibition featuring British mixed media/painting artist Tricia Wright.  This exhibition is made possible through the generous support of Chemung Canal Trust Company, Wegmans, Marc Rubin Associates, and New York State Council on the Arts. This event is free and open to the public. Houghton Gallery Curator, Ann Welles notes: "Tricia Wright's work evokes thoughts of home while demonstrating a rich design sensibility. She often utilizes wallpaper and textile patterns, shapes derived from architectural structures, and silhouettes from the natural word. The cumulative effect is one that invites the viewer to consider domestic interiors and our relationships with those environments."
