Arnold, a renowned children's book author/illustrator, will be exhibiting selections of his highly-regarded but little-seen "adult" work. These experimental mixed-media collages synthesize painting, drawing, and found objects in the service of provocative social and political commentary - often with a touch of Arnold's wry humor. The work is also consistently beautiful in its color, composition, texture, and craftsmanship, even as it veers between illustration and abstraction.
