The Switz draws several hundred jumpers and a few thousand spectators for its annual Polar Bear Plunge. A DJ and an outdoor bar keep things lively. The jumpers sign waivers and then hurl themselves off the docks into Keuka's chilly waters. There's costumes, props and prizes awarded in various categories, such as Most Original Costume and Oldest Jumper.
