Live Music by Dwayne Dopsie and the Zydeco Hellraisers & SUNGBEATS
Get ready for live, high-energy zydeco music. Not familiar with the style? Zydeco refers to a genre of music that originated in Louisiana featuring fast-tempo accordion. Dwayne Dopsie and the Zydeco Hellraisers are renowned for their unique style which infuses blues, soul, and funk with a traditional zydeco rhythm. Dopsie has been called "the Jimi Hendrix of the accordian" by Rolling Stone magazine so this is one performance you definitely don't want to miss. And, because we couldn't have just one amazing musical act, check out SUNGBEATS. Sung Lee is an award-winning beatboxer and live looper from New York City. Using just a microphone and loop pedal, he creates incredible bass-thumping music. From electronica to hip-hop, watch live as this performer makes music, right in front of your eyes.
