The 2010 Student Exhibition features art by students in the graduated visual arts curriculum at 171. Students exercised their creativity and developed technical skills with opportunities to explore disciplines ranging from drawing and painting to the applied arts, such as fiber arts and ceramics. Classes also investigated art history and art theory in ways that complimented students' development of their own skills and interests. The Student Exhibition in 171's Houghton Gallery represents the culmination of this year's programming and is a celebration of all that our young artists have accomplished.
