There's only one place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day this year in the Finger Lakes. Hornell throws the biggest celebration around bringing a huge crowd every year with a parade, Shamrock run, and events around town.
Celebrate this year on March 11th starting at 9am with the annual Hornell YMCA Shamrock Run/Walk. Following the run either join or view the parade. The St. Patrick's Day Parade is a long running tradition in Hornell and is one of the favorite events for locals and visitors every year. Other family activities will include family bowling at Maple City Bowl and face painting.
There will be no shortage of entertainment throughout the whole town in the afternoon and into the night. Before the parade stop into The Brute for mimosas and a special Shamrock Punch to start to day off festively! After head back for St. Patrick's Day inspired foods from Jenkins Farm Market, and live music all afternoon.
Celebrate at Cider Creek Hard Cider with live music from Matt Burns at 7:30. During the day enjoy $2 cans of their Farmhouse & Saison Hard Cider during our "Happy Get Lucky" hours. You will also be able to purchase their other handcrafted ciders and artisan pizzas all day. Take advantage of their free shuttle bus picking up at the Hornell YMCA starting at 11:30am.
Railhead Brewing Company will be hosting live music from the Donlon Brothers, and serving a twist on a St. Patrick Day favorite with Reuben Pizzas.
A day of Irish festivites will have you looking for a great meal to end the day. Marino's Restaurant is serving a traditional St. Patrick's Day meal of Corned Beef and Cabbage on March 11th and then again on March 17th.
