Steuben County CVB Staff

The Steuben County Conference & Visitors Bureau was established in 1994. As Steuben County's official tourism marketing agency, our mission is to aggressively promote the visitor industry year-round and thereby stimulate economic growth.

Board of Directors

SCCVB Staff:

Kevin Costello
President & CEO

With degrees in Travel Management and Tourism Management, plus extensive experience with some of the top businesses in the hospitality field, Kevin's entire career has been in the hospitality and tourism industry. He even spent a month-and-a-half on Margarita Island in Venezuela doing research for his master's thesis on the impact of tourism on the local economy, but not once while he was on the island did he find a place to get a good margarita.

"To live only for some future goal is shallow. It's the sides of the mountain that sustain life, not the top." - Robert M. Pirsig

Kevin Peterson
Partner Relations Manager

With more than 16 years' experience in sales and retail management, Kevin joined the SCCVB team in 2011. A self-proclaimed "serial entrepreneur," he has been involved in several business organizations and owns two businesses of his own. You might be surprised to discover Kevin spends his spare time raising awareness and funds for the Alzheimer's Association, and enjoys painting and sculpting.

Favorite quotes:
"If you dream it, you can do it." – Walt Disney
"Common sense is genius dressed in its working clothes." – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Dave DeGolyer
Communications Manager

Dave has worked with the public in some capacity for thirty years, although he has a difficult time admitting he's been around long enough for that to be true. An award-winning poet, Dave likes to write in his spare time and is currently working on five different books. As a boy one of his favorite pastimes was climbing trees. He never really quite got the hang of climbing down, however, or of landing on his feet. Enough said.

Favorite quotes:
"There are things that are known and things that are unknown and in between there are doors." – William Blake
"Be the change you want to see in the world." – Mahatma Ghandi

Mollie Cicora
Sales/Office Assistant

When she was 14 months-old, Mollie climbed out of her crib and broke her arm in three places. Some people might call that clumsy. We think it was an early indication of an adventurous spirit. Mollie enjoys traveling to new places and trying things that are out of the ordinary. With a degree in Mass Communications, Mollie's passion for cooking and baking nearly had her attending culinary school. Her position at the CVB is her first "big kid job."

"Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a harder battle." – Plato

Wendy Ferrigno
Group Sales Manager

After 25 years in the restaurant industry, Wendy found herself at a yoga class next to the President & CEO of her local tourism bureau. She's been representing wine country destinations for the past 12 years. When not promoting Corning and the Southern Finger Lakes, you'll find her exploring destinations off the beaten path looking for that locally-owned hidden gem for a great food experience or glass of bubbles.

"Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, or worn. It is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude." - Denis Waitley

Jacob Burke
Digital Marketing Manager

Jake has worked in some aspect of the digital universe for over the past fifteen years. As the CVB's very own "wizard" of technology, Jake stays on top of emerging trends and new opportunities for promoting the region. When not in the office, you can find him out enjoying many of the fine craft spirits being made here in Steuben County. As an avid fan of ice hockey, Jake is partial to the winter months, but loves the beauty of summer and fall in the region.

Favorite quotes:
"You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." - Wayne Gretzky
"There has never been a sadness that can't be cured by breakfast food." - Ron Swanson

Jeffrey Greuber

Accountants are often unfairly stereotyped as being a bit staid. Jeff constantly proves that you can be serious about your work and still have fun. You'll always find him with a witty comment and an abundance of levity. For him, travel is something that helps him find clarity and prioritize his life. An avid athlete in his youth, Jeff breeds award-winning clams in his spare time. Of course, he may have been pulling our leg with that one.

"Facts are stubborn things."
